I spent an evening exploring New Westminster Quay during golden hour with my new lens, and it did not disappoint.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved cityscapes and landscapes. I've always felt so drawn to them, and now that I'm a photographer, I love getting to capture some of my own.

New Westminster Quay was the perfect place to wander with my camera. Between the waterfront, boats, boardwalk, and the city views, there was something beautiful everywhere I looked. Golden hour made it even better, adding the nicest warm light across the Fraser River.

One of my favourite parts of photography is exploring new places and seeing how different locations come to life through my camera. This was also my first time really getting to use my new lens, and I couldn't have picked a better spot to test it out.

It's easy to spend most of my time photographing sessions, so it's always fun to take a step back and shoot something just because I enjoy it. These are the kinds of evenings that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

If you've never been to New Westminster Quay, I'd definitely recommend checking it out, especially around sunset. It was such a beautiful place to explore, and I'll definitely be back.
